SMC's new HF2A-LEY electric actuator is designed for use in hygienic and demanding environments within the food industry. Thanks to its IP69K protection rating, the actuator is completely dustproof and resistant to high-pressure and high-temperature cleaning. All external parts are made of stainless steel (SUS304) and equipped with blue FDA and EC1935/2004-compliant seals and scrapers, supplemented with NSF H1-approved lubricants. The smooth, groove-free design prevents liquid accumulation and facilitates easy cleaning. The HF2A-LEY is available in sizes 25, 32, and 63, with stroke lengths up to 800 mm and working loads up to 80 kg, and offers mounting options such as foot or rod flange mounting. The combination of food-safe materials, a robust design, and laser-engraved markings makes this actuator ideal for applications in, for example, cutting, filling, and packaging lines in the food industry.
