During INDUMATION in Kortrijk, fortop shows how industrial signaling, detection, vision and machine safety come together in practice. Below is a small selection of the solutions presented at the stand.
Smart Signaling 50 a new standard in industrial signaling
The Smart Signaling 50 from Auer Signal is a compact range of industrial signal lights for mounting in a 22 mm mounting hole. The range covers everything from simple signal lights for basic status indication to advanced versions with IO Link. Thanks to the M12 5p connections and the very high light intensity, up to four times brighter than conventional solutions, the Smart Signaling 50 can be deployed directly in a wide variety of industrial environments.
DTECT® Object 3D practical 3D detection without vision complexity
The DTECT® Object 3D sensor from SensoPart enables reliable object detection based on surface and volume using active stereo technology. This makes the sensor suitable for applications where 2D detection falls short, without adding extra system complexity. Detection and evaluation take place entirely within the sensor, without a PC, software or external lighting, delivering an immediately available OK or NOK result. The DTECT® Object 3D connect, teach in, ready.
Automating logistics with the Basler STA series 3D cameras
The Basler STA series 3D cameras are industrial stereo cameras for demanding robot and vision applications. Using active stereo technology, these cameras deliver accurate and stable 3D information for tasks such as detecting free space and objects. This enables reliable and consistent automation with shorter cycle times and a high level of process reliability.
Inxpect S202A MC series 3D safety within a single sensor
The S202A MC series from Inxpect makes it possible to define one or multiple 3D safety zones, cuboids, within a single sensor. This allows machine safety to be precisely aligned with the actual risk area. The IP67 sensors continue to operate reliably under challenging conditions such as dust, smoke, vapor and varying light influences. Configuration of the safety zones is clear and straightforward via the Inxpect Safety Studio software.
Wireless enabling switch RE 6900 from DOLD
The RE 6900 from DOLD is a wireless enabling switch for safe access to hazardous zones during setup and maintenance work. The handheld operates according to the hold to run principle and enables controlled work within the hazard zone, offering maximum safety and freedom of movement. The series is available as an enabling switch or as a wireless emergency stop and is suitable for safety applications up to category 4, PL e and SIL 3.
ReeR SafeReady safety light curtains
The SafeReady series from ReeR consists of safety light curtains for fast and clear safeguarding of hazardous zones, where people are reliably detected while materials can pass through unhindered. The series is designed for easy installation without unnecessary complexity in the safety solution. The SafeReady series complies with Type 4 and safety levels up to PL e and SIL 3 and is available in versions with Bluetooth configuration and IO Link.
