The EtherCAT Technology Group (ETG) is an organization where key user companies from various industries and leading automation suppliers join forces to support, promote, and advance the EtherCAT technology. With almost 7.500 members from 74 countries, the ETG is the largest fieldbus organization in the world. Founded in November 2003, it is also the fastest-growing fieldbus organization.
Do we need to talk? About EtherCAT? Considering the success of the last 20 years, this may seem superfluous. Everyone knows EtherCAT, most people use EtherCAT, so what else is there to talk about? But we are not the only ones who need to communicate.
